Best Quartz points found so far at the Donna

This past Saturday two of us went to the Donna and found our best Quarts crystals so far to date. That night we stayed at the Cryo-Genie mine. Sunday morning we were off to explore a new area we plan on claiming but it was HOT and the hike was no fun. Quartz points were found but the best was a terminated schorl that Dana from the Cryo-Genie said he would clean for us. This next weekend looks busy. Off to see some great stuff at the West Coast Gem & Mineral Show (Costa Mesa Ca.) on Friday and Saturday San Diego Mineral & Gems has it's annual Barbecue. See all posts...
