Happy New Year and may it be a great one after the fact

Thanksgiving was fun as about 40 of us enjoyed Paradise Springs on private property. This will be an annual event. This is North West of Calico off of Fort Irwin road. A few rock hound trips were also taken place. A few weeks after this, it was collecting in the South Cady Mountains where some great agates and jasper's were found. The first week of January and the last week of January was spent in Quartzsite both buying and then selling rocks and slabs. It was a fun time and I recomend every one go to Quartzsite at least once during the annual Pow Wow. Plan on spending a few days exploring the town or going on field trips. More field trips will be done this month of February. March 9-11 I should be at the Stoddard Wells Tailgate and in April 13-15th the Vista Tailgate. I do plan on getting there a few day early to set up. Let me know if you want to be put on my field trip e-mail list. I have been doing my best in adding new material to the site weekly.
