Fall is here yet hot in So. Calif.

Still no answer on when we can go back to dredging. Did find gold on the Yuba river and on the Merced River yet not much. When we were up in the tertiary location in Nevada county we did hear bears making noise in the distance and was visited by one in our camp site on the Merced yet did not see a one. For some reason on the last four rock hounding trips I have been on there has been a rattle snake in our camping area. The first 3 are dead. Sorry, I do not want you under my tent. This past September, found a great location for petrified wood in Holbrook on a private ranch and did collect some great coprolite specimens in Utah. Looks Like I will be going back in 3 or 4 weeks to Holbrook AZ. In 2 weeks back to Utah for Geodes and Topaz  plus other collecting locations. When back need to do some digging on my two claims and more rock collecting in the S. Cady's. Some one asked if I wanted to join them this week in the S. Cady's but I passed as I do not like to dig in the 90's. Now it is your turn to smell the dirt and collect a few rocks.
