Salt and Turquoise

The weekend of 10/10/08 to 10/12/08 was time well spent in Trona collecting hanksite, halite, thenardite, borax and the allusive Sulfohalite. The following weekend from 10/17/08 and back home on 10/22/08 went to Fallon NV and stayed with a turquoise expert. Scouted for claims in Churchill, Lyon and Douglas county. The first two were great with Douglas a bust. Yes we went to the county recorders office to look up records in Churchill and Lyon County. 90% of the locations we went to gave us some great turquoise.
