Dendritic Dolomite with Psilomelane Slab from Mexico. Specimen weighs about 5.4 Oz and measures about 6.5" x 2.75" x .268" Thick or 6.82 MM Thick. Photographed wet and slabs are at an angle to stop some glare so slab in pictures look smaller. When I traded this rock with someone he called it dendritic dolomite from Mexico. I see the rocks on e-bay and the black dendrite color says it is psilomalane. They are calling it Dendritic Jasper -Mexico-Psilomelane Dendrites.

Jasper has a tendency to be a solid color or blending of colors. Dolomite is an anhydrous carbonate mineral composed of calcium magnesium carbonate so I put some hydrogen Chloride or pool acid on it and it bubbled.
