Great Hanksite Crystal Specimen. From Trona Calif (Searles Lake, San Bernardino Co.) Total Weight is about 4 Lb 13.5 Oz. Crystals have been coated with mineral oil. This was found with it being encased in mud so in was scrubbed with salt brine and with an air compressor shot with air to remove the mud in the cracks. Measures about 5.5" x 5.25" x 4.5".
