Multi colored Turquoise Slab from the Royston Mine outside Tonopah NV. Measures about 4.5" x 3" x .341 Thick or 8.68 MM Thick Weighs about 6.6 Oz. Most turquoise has a backing applied before it is cabbed. J-B Weld is used on back and then set on wax paper and pressed on a flat surface to cover the complete bottom of the cab. I do recommend you put a backing on turquoise slabs yet this one my not need it. Photographed wet and slab is at an angle to stop some glare so slab in pictures look smaller. Slight uneven cut.
