Petrified Peanut Wood from Western Australia. Nice flat polish on one side. This is from the Cretaceous period, which makes it about 70 million years old.  It is called "peanut" wood because of the peanut-shape cream color inclusions. These "peanuts" used to be holes left behind by burrowing teredo mollusks. Weighs about 2 Lb 1.8 Oz.
