Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper Slab measures about 7" x 3" At widest  x .285" Thick or 7.26MM Thick. Cracking is normal on Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper as it is in an earth quack area. Weights about 5.8 Oz. The San Andreas Fault and the Calaveras Fault are located in the region and both have produced large earthquakes. For cabbing, it is recommended to use a backing of J-B Weld or something that will harden. Opticon Resin no. 224 is used to seal and harden the cracks. The bump on slab is an uneven part. Photographed wet and slab is at an angle to stop some glare so slab in pictures look smaller. The true colors are more on the slightly darker brown side.
