Royston Turquoise Slab from the Royston Mine outside Tonopah NV. This is 100% natural turquoise. Measures about 3" x 2.25" x .229 Thick or 5.83 MM Thick Weighs about 2.13 Oz. Photographed wet and slab at an angle to stop some glare so slab in pictures look smaller. Most turquoise has a backing applied before it is cabbed. J-B Weld is used on back and then set on wax paper and pressed on a flat surface to cover the complete bottom of the cab. (I don't think this slab needs backing.)
