Amaroo turquoise slab stabilized. Sweet colors of turquoise. This comes from Ammaroo Station, Northern territory, Australia. Thickness is about 242"  Thick or 6.15 MM Thick Weighs about 2.523 Oz. Most turquoise has a backing applied before it is cabbed. J-B Weld is used on back and then set on wax paper and pressed on a flat surface to cover the complete bottom of the cab. (I don't think this slab needs backing.)  Dark green under penny is from the paint on saw blade.
