Number 8 Turquoise Spider web & Stabilized slab Measures about 5" x 3" x .233" Thick or 5.92 MM Weighs about 3.2 Oz. Most turquoise has a backing applied before it is cabbed. J-B Weld is used on back and then set on wax paper and pressed on a flat surface to cover the complete bottom of the cab. I do recommend you put a backing on turquoise slabs. This is hard and I see small vugs and a few locations that look like cracks yet do not run long. A small amount of super glue should do the trick. We do have more of these spider web slabs. One side was semi polished and damp that made no difference.  The green on the bottom of one side is from the saw blade.
